Robert E. Scully, M.D., FACP is the Medical Director of the Huntington location as well as another facility located in Northport at 399 Fort Salonga Road, which opened in 2000.

In practice in Huntington for 18 years, Dr. Scully opened the first MediCenter in 1990 at 365 W. Jericho Turnpike. "We outgrew this facility, and needed more room. Here, we have a new state-of-the-art X-ray suite as well as on-site lab to get results quickly," Dr. Scully pointed out. Dr. Scully also emphasized the fact that a physician is staffed at both facilities at all times.

The Huntington and Northport Medicenter is a walk-in medical care facility for all your medical needs. Open seven days a week throughout the year, with the exception of major holidays, the Medicenter offers immediate care for both adults and children. Patients can avail themselves of school, sports and work physicals, comprehensive physical exams including EKG's, and high blood pressure and cholesterol control assistance.

Cancer prevention and screening, minor surgery and laceration repair can be addressed at the Medicenter. We have relationships with many different industries within the community to handle worker's compensation cases and employment physicals.

The treatment rooms at the Medicenter are comfortable and inviting. The all-new renovated office is assisted by a caring, friendly staff that will make your visit to the doctor a satisfying experience. A visit to the Medicenter will allow you to see the doctor when you need to, without a wait of hours or even days as is often the case when seeking medical help. We are available at more convenient times for the patients. Our patients move in and out quickly, and most are seen right away. We handle overflow from local emergency rooms and busy doctor's offices.

Medicenter has an affiliation with the Hospitalist Program at Huntington Hospital, directed by Dr. Nick Fitterman.
